Brad Treliving Makes Unfortunate Comments About the Toronto Maple Leafs' Injured Players

Brad Treliving has done an admirable job with the Toronto Maple Leafs this season as he had ensured that this team gets to the playoffs with solid personnel.

The hiring of Craig Berube was fantastic and it seemingly propelled the team to an Atlantic Division championship. Unfortunately, with the Playoffs beginning on Sunday against the Ottawa Senators, there are some challenges at play.

Guys like Jake McCabe, Oliver Ekman-Larsson, and David Kampf are all suffering from injuries right now and have missed about two weeks of action.

Berube has stated that the players should be good to come back in time, however, there are of course those who aren't feeling as optimistic about all of this.

For instance, while speaking to reporters today, Treliving would not commit to the idea that his injured players would be back in time for Game 1.

Tomorrow, the Maple Leafs are going to be practicing and that should give everyone a sense of what the lineup will be.

Even though the Leafs are a one-seed in their side of the bracket, that does not mean this series is going to be easy. The Senators are a very sneaky team.

Having said that, the Leafs have a phenomenal roster and are coached well. They play a playoff brand of hockey and that is going to help them going forward.
