Last night, Cayden Primeau made his debut with the Toronto Maple Leafs. It was shaky in the second period, but he got the win with 26 saves on 30 shots.
Overall, the Maple Leafs put up a great fight, and Primeau made some key saves down the stretch to ensure that this team would get the win.
While Primeau spent the first few years of his career with the Montreal Canadiens, it just so happens that he has some family ties to the Maple Leafs.

It just goes to show that a lot of NHL players have lineage with their family members. It makes the NHL's history that much more unique, and we love seeing stuff like this.
Primeau is in an interesting position for the rest of the NHL season, as it is unknown how much longer he will stay up with the Maple Leafs.
Joseph Woll will be back eventually, and when he does return, Primeau will be hitting the waiver wire before going back down to the AHL.
The life of a backup goalie can be a difficult one, but for now, the Maple Leafs are putting their trust in him as they have three back-to-backs in October.
The Maple Leafs schedule is a brutal one, and Primeau is very much needed during these tough moments.
Hopefully, the goaltender continues to be trusted by the Leafs and puts up solid stats in the few starts he has left.
