Toronto Maple Leafs podcaster Steve Dangle delivered a conspiracy theory on his show that explains the recent troubles against the Florida Panthers.
Steve Dangle is definitely one of the more controversial people covering the
Toronto Maple Leafs these days as not everyone is a fan of his style.
Despite the haters, The Steve Dangle Podcast is still incredibly popular and he continues to do this thing every single day. During the NHL Playoffs, Dangle has been especially busy as the Leafs are making a run.
Steve Dangle theorizes about the Toronto Maple Leafs
On the most recent episode of his podcast, Dangle peddled a conspiracy theory about the team's latest string of losses and why they went down the way that they did.
After watching
Chris Tanev,
Matthew Knies, and
Calle Jarnkrok go to the dressing room for "equipment issues" over the last two games, Dangle is suspecting that the guys are actually feeling sick right now.
There is credence to this theory when you consider how
Matt Murray missed a game due to illness, and
Oliver Ekman-Larsson missed practice on Tuesday because of illness.
Tonight, the Maple Leafs are playing the Florida Panthers in Game on home ice and if they win, they will go back to Florida with a chance to end the series.
However, a loss means their backs would be up against the wall in Game 6 and that would make for all sorts of drama.
Only time will tell if this Leafs team can get out of this funk and start putting pucks in the back of the net again. They also need another huge performance from
Joseph Woll.
That said, this is going to be a fascinating conclusion to the series and we're sure Steve Dangle will be watching closely.
