Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube has been very adamant about keeping his lineup the same but the Florida Panthers are testing him.
Sure, the
Leafs lineup in its current form has gotten the team pretty far. However, the squad has lost two games in a row to the Florida Panthers, and some concerns are starting to take shape.
Their second-round series is now tied and on Wednesday, both teams will be in Toronto for what should be a spirited Game 5.
Craig Berube talks Toronto Maple Leafs lineup issues
After Game 4, Berube spoke to the media where he was asked whether or not he will be looking to make any big changes to the lineup.
It was here where the head coach admitted that everything is on the table and he will think about it.
«For sure, we will talk about it. We will look at a couple of different options for what is best for the team. We have a couple of days to think about it and see if we feel that it is a better option.»
At this stage, a lot of fans are calling for Nick Robertson, who has been out of the playoffs since the first round against the Ottawa Senators.
Robertson can score goals and that is exactly what the Maple Leafs need right now given all of the issues they had in Game 4.
Whether or not we see Robertson or even
David Kampf still remains to be seen. However, he would be a solid option given the cirumstances.
Whatever Berube does, there is going to be a lot of scrutiny on it as the fans are hoping for an Eastern Conference Finals appearance.
