Toronto's Max Domi has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for boarding Florida's Aleksander Barkov.
For a lot of fans out there, this punishment is going to come across as extremely harsh, especially when you consider how the Panthers have been doing much worse all series.
However, Domi was not suspended, so that is definitely something that Leafs fans can hang their hats on right now.
Now, the Leafs and Panthers will head back to Toronto for Game 5 where there is going to be a lot of anger between these two sides.
Florida Panthers dominate Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 4
Game 4 was not a good one for the Leafs as they lost by a score of 2-0 and were lit up in the shot department.
The only reason why the score wasn't actually any worse is because
Joseph Woll stood on his head throughout the entire game.
However, in Game 5, the Maple Leafs will need to elevate their game because if they don't, then there is a real possibility the Panthers take the lead in the series.
Overall, this is going to be fascinating and the incident with Domi is going to lead to a unique dynamic.
