Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander has been dealing with a bit of an injury, although according to reports, he will play against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

William Nylander has been dealing with a lower-body injury over the past couple of weeks, and it has been keeping him out of the Toronto Maple Leafs' lineup.
He has missed a few games, and this has ruined the continuity in the team's top six. Guys like Auston Matthews and John Tavares have been impacted the most, and the team has been in desperate need of their superstar forward back.
Thankfully, it was revealed this morning that Nylander would, in fact, be in the Maple Leafs' lineup tonight. He is feeling good, and is ready to contribute.
In fact, he will be playing on the second line with John Tavares and rookie forward Easton Cowan, who just scored his first career NHL goal.

Erik Karlsson has jokes for William Nylander

Tonight, the Leafs are playing the Pittsburgh Penguins, who boast the talents of Erik Karlsson, who just so happens to be good friends with fellow Swedish-National, Nylander.
When he found out that Nylander was playing tonight, he couldn't help but make a snide comment, saying, "That sucks."
This could either be an acknowledgement of Nylander's skill, or a joke about how he doesn't like that his friend is feeling well enough to play.
Either way, these two are going to be a lot of fun to watch on the ice tonight. The Maple Leafs are looking for two in a row, and the Penguins will be hungry as the away team.
Monday Night Hockey on Amazon Prime has been a blast so far this year, and we are excited to watch the next iteration of it.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can perform when the lights are the brightest.
