Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Craig Berube was incredibly harsh on Joseph Woll last night and former NHL goalie Carter Hutton had something to say about it.
Last night was a disappointing one for the Toronto Maple Leafs as they lost to the San Jose Sharks by a score of 6-5 in a shootout.
This loss was impressive in some respects as the score was 5-3 for the Sharks with a minute to go, however, the Leafs put together an improbable comeback.
Goalie
Joseph Woll was not particularly strong during this match as he allowed five goals on 35 shots. Furthermore, in the last two games, Woll has let in nine goals against the two worst teams in the NHL.

It can be rare for a goaltender to get called out by their head coach in such a fashion, but Carter Hutton is no stranger to it.
While playing for the Nashville Predators, Hutton was called out by head coach Barry Trotz, which ultimately lit a fire under him.
During this morning's episode of "Leafs Morning Take," Hutton acknowledged that it's not great for coaches to do this, however, he believes there is a chance Woll starts playing his best hockey of the year.
Following last night's loss, Woll now has a goals-against average of 2.80 and a save percentage of .905.
These are just average statistics and the Leafs are going to need more than that if they want to actually win anything significant.
One has to wonder of Joseph Woll will be the starter come the playoff or if
Anthony Stolarz has won the job.
