Joseph Woll's Latest Comments About Utah May Have Been a Shot at Toronto Maple Leafs Fans

Toronto Maple Leafs fans have been getting a bad wrap as of late and it seems like Joseph Woll may have taken a shot at that after playing the Utah Hockey Club.
Joseph Woll was in goal against the Utah Hockey Club on Monday night and he had a pretty decent game as he allowed three goals on 33 shots.
It was a necessary win for the goaltender who had largely struggled in his previous two outings with the Maple Leafs.
Furthermore, it was Woll's very first game in Utah, and he was impressed with the fans who were extremely loud in their home barn.
Joseph Woll praises Utah Hockey Club fans
The Utah Hockey Club is in its first season in Salt Lake City and the fans are already bringing the house down, which has surprised a lot of players.
Woll was one of them, and his comments below courtesy of Sportsnet's Luke Fox are a great example of how Utah fans are doing a great job right now.
«Really loud. Like, surprisingly loud for a first-year organization. It was awesome. It was one of the cooler environments I've played in. So, props to Utah.»
However, one could argue that these comments are a bit of a shot at Toronto Maple Leafs fans, who have been getting roasted pretty hard for their lack of enthusiasm.
Of course, a lot of this has to do with the price of the tickets and the type of crowd that usually gets to sit in the lower bowl.
The average Leaf fan is pretty loud and we get to see that whenever the team is playing against other Canadian teams abroad.
Either way, with the playoffs on the horizon, Scotiabank Arena needs to be jumping, otherwise, the momentum just won't be there for critical home games.
Hopefully, Leafs fans don't get too offended by what Joseph Woll had to say, after all, it is just his opinion.
