Matthew Knies & Bobby McMann hilariously roast Mitch Marner's OT winner

In the past, Marner has been known to pass just a bit too much. Ultimately, that is what Stuart Skinner anticipated and he cheated the play. This allowed Marner to get the goal.

As you can see in the video below, this was just a great play from Marner and it shows that he has fantastic situational awareness, especially in a three-on-three scenario.

However, despite scoring the game-winner, some of Marner's teammates could not help but roast him for actually coming through and taking a shot.

In the tweet down below, it was revealed that both Matthew Knies and Bobby McMann got some jabs in. Funny enough, they were the other two goal-scorers for the Leafs.

Hopefully, this could usher in a new era of sorts in which Marner shoots the puck a whole lot more. This would definitely be a nice change of pace and with Auston Matthews out, it would help the team a lot.

Overall, it is clear that the Leafs have a lot of firepower, especially on their top two lines. Now, they just have to continue playing at a high level.

As it stands, they have a record of 11-6-2 and are becoming one of the more dangerous teams in the NHL.
