Former Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner had some very nice comments about his teammate Pavel Dorofeyev, although Leafs fans have something to say.

Mitch Marner is now a member of the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and there is no doubt that there are some Maple Leafs fans out there who feel resentful.
They are jealous that their guy is now playing for another team. It is understandable that they would feel this way, although at times, it is obsessive.
As it stands, the Golden Knights are looking pretty good, and it feels as though Marner's addition has really been big for them.
They have also been getting lots of scoring from Pavel Dorofeyev, who currently leads the NHL in goals with six so far.

Mitch Marner loves Pavel Dorofeyev

In fact, Marner had some interesting comments about Dorofeyev, as he claimed that he is one of the best scorers he has ever had the pleasure of playing with.
He's one of the best goal scorers I've seen and I've played some special ones.
As you can imagine, despite the qualifier at the end, this is causing some controversy in Toronto, as some see it as a slight at Auston Matthews.
It is not shocking in the least bit that Mitch Marner would say this, although for some Toronto Maple Leafs fans, it remains disappointing.
At the end of the day, Marner just wants to support his new teammates, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
It will be interesting to see if Matthews or Dorofeyev will end up finishing with more goals.
