Mitch Marner's dad, Paul Marner, has consistently been criticized for the way he hovered over his son's career while he was with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
If you are a fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, then you unfortunately know just how dramatic
Paul Marner was when his son played for the franchise.
Paul Marner doesn't seem happy in Las Vegas
However, none of these factors could stop Marner's father from looking absolutely miserable on Tuesday as the forward was introduced to the Las Vegas media.
In a now-viral image, which can be found below, Paul Marner was handed a Golden Knights jersey, and he had the look of someone who didn't want to be there.
If Marner isn't happy now, he will likely never be happy. But at the end of the day, he is no longer the problem of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Instead, the Golden Knights franchise will have to deal with him and his potential antics. Thankfully for them, the forward is locked up for eight seasons.
Despite all of the drama, we do wish Marner the best of luck with his brand-new team.
The player himself seems pretty happy about how things have turned out, and that is all that should really matter.
