Mitch Marner's Four Highest Bidders Have Been Unveiled Ahead of Free Agency

Toronto Maple Leafs winger Mitch Marner has numerous teams gunning for his services, and when free agency begins, his choices will be bountiful.
When you score 102 points in a single season, you immediately enter superstar status. This past season, that is exactly what Mitch Marner achieved with 27 goals and 75 assists.
Who is Mitch Marner signing with?
James Mirtle was on
TSN 1050 recently, where he spoke about the Mitch Marner sweepstakes and which teams are going out of their way to offer ridiculous contracts.
Four of the teams mentioned were the Utah Mammoth, Anaheim Ducks, Chicago Blackhawks, and the San Jose Sharks. All of these things have one thing in common: they did not make the playoffs.
When you can't make the postseason and you are in desperate need of a superstar, it is easy to see why you'd want to overpay a good player.
The teams at the top of Marner's list include the Los Angeles Kings, Las Vegas Golden Knights, and the Florida Panthers. All of these teams have a culture of winning and have won Stanley Cups in the last decade.
Mitch Marner needs them more than they need him, which means they would probably offer a deal worth anywhere between $12 and $13 million.
Needless to say, this is going to be very interesting to watch. Toronto Maple Leafs fans are just ready for this saga to be over already.
We are not envious of general manager Brad Treliving, who has an incredibly difficult job to do this summer.
