Nicolas Roy, Matias Maccelli, and Michael Pezzetta Reveals Their Numbers with the Maple Leafs

Over the last week, the Toronto Maple Leafs have acquired Nicolas Roy, Matias Maccelli, and Michael Pezzetta, who have all revealed their jersey numbers.
Nicolas Roy was acquired by the Toronto Maple Leafs in what is now considered a blockbuster trade. Of course, this trade sent Mitch Marner to the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
Hours before that, the Leafs traded a conditional third-round pick to the Utah Hockey Club for Mattias Maccelli, a winger who had a down year.
On Tuesday, the Maple Leafs kicked off free agency by signing Michael Pezzetta, a hometown kid who previously played for the Montreal Canadiens. For those unaware, he is a bruiser who could replace Ryan Reaves.

With all three of these players settling into their new home in Toronto, a major announcement was made on Thursday that will be of great interest to fans.
All three players now have their jersey numbers for next season. As you can see below, Roy will wear 55, Pezzetta 65, and Maccelli 63.

Roy and Maccelli are expected to be in the lineup every single night for the Maple Leafs, while Pezzetta will likely be a plug-and-play kind of guy.
Whatever the case may be, the fans are very excited to have these guys around next season, and there is no doubt the team will have a new identity.
Whether or not that identity translates to winning hockey remains to be seen. Although for now, things are looking up.
Over the coming weeks, fans should expect more moves from the Leafs as they attempt to sign some extra bodies in free agency.
