Paul Maurice Confirms Some Very Bad News for the Florida Panthers

Paul Maurice has been very stern with the media as his Florida Panthers are now under a 2-0 deficit against the
Toronto Maple Leafs.
Although he is coaching the reigning Stanley Cup champs, there is no doubt that his team is starting to feel the heat of a team that is very much qualified to go on a deep run.
In fact, the Panthers have gone through numerous injuries this season and after going to back-to-back Stanley Cups, it has become clear that the champs are a tired and battered team.
Are the Florida Panthers in trouble?
We say this because while speaking to the media today, Maurice confirmed that the team has multiple game-time decisions on the roster. He declined to say who these players are.
Paul Maurice says he has some game-time lineup decisions due to health.
Dmitry Kulikov and
Gustav Forsling are two names that come to mind as they were both on the receiving end of some big hits against the Leafs on Wednesday.
Moreover, guys like
Matthew Tkachuk and even
Brad Marchand have been banged up all season. If they miss time, then the Panthers are in big trouble.
Ultimately, these next couple of games are critical for the Panthers. If they cannot get healthy, then the Leafs may end this series especially early.
Of course, Maple Leafs fans would love that but that doesn't mean it is going to happen. First, they must actually go out there, score goals, and keep pucks out of their own net.
