The Toronto Maple Leafs need a win against the Buffalo Sabres tonight, and as a result, they have unveiled a lineup that contains some pretty major changes.

After a couple of bad losses in a row, the Toronto Maple Leafs are attempting to get back on track against the Buffalo Sabres.
They are playing the Sabres tonight in Buffalo, and are then going back home tomorrow night for a rematch. This back-to-back is critical, and the Leafs are hoping for a win.
However, in order to inject some energy into the lineup, the team has opted for some major changes that could seriously alter the team's chemistry.

Toronto Maple Leafs have a unique lineup tonight

Of course, it should be noted that Morgan Rielly and Chris Tanev are out tonight. This means both Dakota Mermis and Philippe Myers will make their debuts tonight.
As for the lines, things have been shuffled around quite dramatically. We have Auston Matthews with William Nylander and Bobby McMann.
Matthew Knies is playing with John Tavares and Matias Maccelli, while Easton Cowan is back in the lineup with Nicolas Roy and Dakota Joshua.
Max Domi has found himself on the fourth line with Calle Jarnkrok and Steven Lorentz. Meanwhile, Sammy Blais and Nick Robertson are going to be scratched.
McMann - Matthews - Nylander
Knies - Tavares - Maccelli
Joshua - Roy - Cowan
Lorentz - Domi - Jarnkrok
Blais, Robertson

McCabe - Carlo
Mermis* - Ekman-Larsson
Benoit - Myers

This is going to be a huge test for the Maple Leafs, and there is no doubt that head coach Craig Berube will be expecting good things from his team.
If they cannot get it together here, then there will be a lot of fans screaming for answers, and they won't be out of line to do so.
