Chris Tanev out with an injury, there is no denying that the defenseman is more important than ever before. Unfortunately, he is going through it as well.
In fact, head coach Craig Berube had stated that the defenseman was going to be questionable, which led to various concerns.
Today, all of the fans' fears were confirmed as the Maple Leafs made a sobering update on their roster ahead of the first half of a home-and-home.
Morgan Rielly out against the Buffalo Sabres
According to Luke Fox of Sportsnet, Morgan Rielly will not be in the lineup tonight against the Sabres, although he may play tomorrow.

Easton Cowan is going to be back in the lineup for this one, with Nick Robertson getting hit with a healthy scratch.
