Tonight, the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing against the New Jersey Devils, and the lineup for this match is a huge departure from what they have run this season.

After a bad loss to the Seattle Kraken, there has been a ton of discourse surrounding the Toronto Maple Leafs and whether or not this team really has what it takes to win a title.
Overall, there have been some bad moments so far this season, and the chemistry hasn't been up to snuff in a lot of facets of the game.
Thankfully, the New Jersey Devils present the Maple Leafs with an opportunity to potentially get themselves back in the win column.

Toronto Maple Leafs unveil lineup against the Devils

In order to win, head coach Craig Berube needed to make some adjustments to the roster. Below, you can see the kind of lineup the coach is running with.
Immediately, we see that Max Domi is now on the first line with Auston Matthews and Matthew Knies, while Easton Cowan is a scratch.
The third line consists of Nicolas Roy, Dakota Joshua, and Bobby McMann, while Nick Robertson now occupies the fourth line with Steven Lorentz and Calle Jarnkrok.
Knies - Matthews - Domi
Maccelli - Tavares - Nylander
Joshua - Roy - McMann
Robertson - Lorentz - Jarnkrok

McCabe - Tanev
Rielly - Carlo
Benoit - Ekman-Larsson

Stolarz starts
Primeau

Anthony Stolarz is the starting goaltender for this game, which makes a lot of sense as Cayden Primeau will likely get to play next weekend.
Overall, the Maple Leafs remain one of the more intriguing teams in the NHL, and it will be interesting to see if they can get back on track.
If not, then this back-to-back against the Buffalo Sabres is going to be a huge litmus test for the rest of the NHL season.
