Mitch Marner is no longer with the Las Vegas Golden Knights, and since he left the franchise, the team has been dealing with a very familiar problem.

When Mitch Marner left the Toronto Maple Leafs this summer, everyone understood that it would be difficult for the Leafs to replace him.
Marner had 102 points last season. His offensive prowess cannot be understated. Not to mention, he was the quarterback of the power play.
While the power play did struggle at the start of last season, it appears as though things have actually gotten much worse in the first six games.
Without Marner on the ice, the Maple Leafs are looking completely lifeless out there, and there are a lot of fans who are just kind of fed up with what they're seeing.

Toronto Maple Leafs power play in shambles

In fact, according to reporter Matt Larkin, the Maple Leafs are 1 for 13 to start the season on the power play, which is just unacceptable.
Morgan Rielly, Auston Matthews, Matthew Knies, John Tavares, and William Nylander can't seem to get it together in the early going.
Craig Berube and Marc Savard need to come up with a solution if they want this Maple Leafs team to be successful.
If this keeps up, the Maple Leafs are going to be in for a difficult season that could very well end in tears.
For now, however, the Leafs cannot get too ahead of themselves. It is just six games into the season, albeit six frustrating games in.
Only time will tell whether or not the Leafs can pull through and cover up this Mitch Marner-sized hole in the lineup.
