The Swedish superstar William Nylander is ready to take the ice at the 4 Nations Face-Off and his linemates have now been revealed.
Nylander will play alongside
Mika Zibanejad of the New York Rangers and
Rickard Rakell of the Pittsburgh Penguins and this will form a dynamic trio that promises to have a good tournament.
Will Nylander is seen as one of the biggest threats for the Sweden team during 4 Nations Face-Off
We've already seen the impressive line combinations for
Auston Matthews and
Mitch Marner, but Nylander's line is one of Sweden's most exciting offensive threats.
His linemates are just as good as him since Rickard Rakell has rediscovered his scoring touch by scoring 40 goals and 45 assists over his last 126 games.
Despite the Penguins' struggles, Rakell has been consistent by showcasing his ability to contribute in big moments.
Mika Zibanejad brings some offense and two-way play and even if his goal number has dipped slightly this season, Zibanejad has averaged 31 goals and 70 points over the past seven seasons.
His leadership and defensive responsibility will complement Nylander's offensive firepower.
Sweden has a balanced roster, with two big scoring lines and a defensive bottom six.
It will be shown on their first game in a matchup against Mitch Marner and Team Canada on Feb. 12.
