Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid recently answered a question about his upcoming contract, and the look on Sidney Crosby's face said it all.
Connor McDavid's future with the Edmonton Oilers has been one of the hottest storylines in the NHL right now, mostly because there isn't anything else to talk about.

With these questions about McDavid's commitment to the Oilers in mind, the forward was asked on Wednesday about whether or not he will stick around.
This led to a cop-out answer in which he reiterated just how much he wants to win in Edmonton, like we haven't heard that before.
I have every intention to win in Edmonton. It's my only focus.
Sitting next to McDavid were
Sam Reinhart of the Florida Panthers and Sidney Crosby of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Upon McDavid's answer, both men had sly smiles on their faces, indicating that they were either amused by the question or knew the truth behind the answer.
Whatever the case may be, Oilers fans are not feeling any more confident about McDavid's future with the team. It feels like McDavid wants to take his time and isn't committed to anything right now.
If you have a rooting interest in the team, it might be time to start panicking. Meanwhile, the Toronto Maple Leafs front office should start putting together offers for next Summer.
