An Unlikely Toronto Maple Leafs Forward is Getting Hot at the Right Time

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Max Domi has had some struggles this season but in the month of March, he was able to get himself back in the good graces of his team.
Max Domi had a truly awful start to the NHL season and there were times when fans demanded that he be traded or at least made into a healthy scratch.
The forward was completely refusing to shoot the puck at times and his poor defensive efforts weren't making things any better for him.
Between the months of October and March, Domi only had three goals on the year, which is absolutely unacceptable when you consider the amount of money he is getting paid.

However, seemingly out of nowhere, Domi has found his game and has been playing some truly inspired hockey as of late, which is great news for the Maple Leafs.
In fact, he has scored five goals in the month of March and is now up to eight goals and 30 points this season. He even had a beauty last night against the Anaheim Ducks in a 3-2 win.
Overall, Domi has a chance to do something big in the playoffs here especially as the team emphasizes the importance of the bottom six forwards producing.
The bottom six has been an issue for the team this season but if they get it together in the playoffs, then the Maple Leafs could be on their way to some success.
Everyone on the roster needs to be on it and Domi has a really huge opportunity to show that he isn't the bum some fans have made him out to be.
Of course, this is much easier said than done, especially with the April push right around the corner.
Regardless, this Leafs roster is looking good and with two wins in a row, there should be a lot of confidence surrounding the team right now.
