Toronto Maple Leafs goalies Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll have been lights out this season and it has led to a new franchise record to be proud of.
The Toronto Maple Leafs have been lacking in the goaltender department over the years, although Anthony Stolarz and Joseph Woll have turned the tide for the team.
Overall, they have been a solid duo for this Leafs team and while they have faltered at times, they have also been instrumental in getting this team some wins.
Over the weekend, both goaltenders were sensational as Stolarz stopped 36 of 37 against the Los Angeles Kings and Woll stopped 29 of 31 against the Anaheim Ducks.

Shockingly, both goaltenders have broken a long-standing Toronto Maple Leafs record as this is the first season in which they have a goalie with 25 wins and another with 15.
Woll got his 15th of the season on Sunday, meanwhile, Stolarz got his 16th win in the game against the Kings.
Woll has been very complimentary of his teammates as of late, with his latest comments showcasing how much belief this team has right now.
«I mean, just like I said, I'm doing my best to put the games behind me, whether it's a good performance or a bad performance. I think it's a long season, there are a lot of games, and you're not always going to get the greatest outcome, so it's about learning, putting it behind you, and then coming in with a fresh slate. And I think, honestly, as a full team, we did a great job. We had some amazing blocks by our defensemen and did a good job sticking to our structure, staying patient, and getting a tight win.»
Going into the playoffs, this goaltending situation is going to be incredible to witness for a plethora of reasons.
The first of which has to do with whether or not Craig Berube decides to play two goaltenders throughout the entirety of the playoffs.
Will one guy win the net or will they continue to alternate? Only time will tell.
