Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll has had a few struggles as of late but his recent performance against the Anaheim Ducks was one to remember.

Joseph Woll struggled against the San Jose Sharks and the Nashville Predators, two of the worst teams in the entire NHL.
When your confidence is rattled as a goalie, it is hard to come back and that is why some fans felt like Anthony Stolarz should have gotten back-to-back starts.
However, head coach Craig Berube showed confidence in his netminder as Woll got the start on Sunday night against the Anaheim Ducks.

In the end, the Leafs came out on top by a score of 3-2 while Woll made 29 saves on 31 shots. It was a spirited performance that came at the perfect time for him.
After the game, Woll was honest with himself and was also brutally honest about the thought process of a goalie, noting that regardless of how well you play, you can't dwell on past results.
«I mean, just like I said, I'm doing my best to put the games behind me, whether it's a good performance or a bad performance.

I think it's a long season, there are a lot of games, and you're not always going to get the greatest outcome, so it's about learning, putting it behind you, and then coming in with a fresh slate.

And I think, honestly, as a full team, we did a great job. We had some amazing blocks by our defensemen and did a good job sticking to our structure, staying patient, and getting a tight win.»
This is certainly a great mentality to have and it shows that despite his young age, the young netminder has a sensational maturity level.
At this point, it is still unknown whether or not it will be him or Stolarz starting in the NHL playoffs.
While some fans already have their preconceived notions of who should be in the goal, there are others who aren't so certain of what should happen next.
Either way, it is going to be Craig Berube's decision and we cannot wait to see what he ends up deciding.
