Brandon Carlo & Jeff Malott Share a Hilarious Moment Together After Dropping the Gloves

Brandon Carlo is a defenseman who the Toronto Maple Leafs acquired at the trade deadline from the Boston Bruins for
Fraser Minten and a first-round pick in 2026.
Not to mention, Carlo is a bit of a bruiser but had yet to get into a fight during his brief tenure with the Toronto Maple Leafs. That all changed tonight as the Leafs are taking on the Los Angeles Kings.
Brandon Carlo fights Jeff Malott
Early in the first period, Carlo dropped the gloves with Jeff Malott in what was a pretty epic tilt with fists flying all across the ice.
Subsequently, both men were sent to the penalty box as is customary when two guys drop the gloves in this fashion. Hilariously, the TV cameras picked up a wholesome moment in which both men displayed a ton of respect for one another.
As you can see, Malott was giving Carlo the thumbs up while they both smiled at each other and acknowledged what a great battle they were having.
So far, the game has not gone the Maple Leafs' way as they are losing 1-0 after two periods and it doesn't feel like things are getting any better.
Another loss tonight would create a lot of anger and resentment amongst Maple Leafs fans especially with the playoffs coming right around the corner and the team trying to win
the Atlantic Division.
Simply put, something is going to have to change, otherwise, there might be protests in the streets of Toronto this week.
