The Toronto Maple Leafs would love another center on their team, and Nazem Kadri is certainly someone who could fit that bill.
Overall, the forward was a beloved member of the franchise many years ago, and fans are still upset about the fact that he was traded.
Throughout the Summer, there were all sorts of rumors that Kadri might be traded by the Flames, and that the Maple Leafs would be first in line to acquire him.
Is Nazem Kadri available?
In a new report from Elliotte Friedman, there were some ominous comments made about Kadri, and whether or not the forward would like to be dealt.
As Friedman notes, the forward is close to a major milestone. The Flames want to be part of this milestone, but once that is over, things could change very fast.

If you are a fan of the Maple Leafs, and you were a fan of Kadri, then you are definitely hoping for him to request a trade.
The Flames are off to a terrible start to the season, and no one would be surprised if he decided that this isn't for him right now.
The forward wants to win a second Stanley Cup, and it doesn't look like Calgary Flames are the team to do it with.
