Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander is looking to build upon his efforts from last season, and it seems like he could find himself on par with Daniel Sedin.
William Nylander had 45 goals last season, and in the eyes of fans, it was the best season of his entire career. High praise given what he has accomplished so far.
In fact, Nylander has the opportunity to surpass the legendary Daniel Sedin, who infamously played with his twin brother Henrik on the Vancouver Canucks.

According to Leafs Latest, Nylander has 13 overtime goals. This means he is four overtime goals away from passing Daniel Sedin, who has 16.
This is significant because Sedin has the most overtime goals for a Swedish forward in the history of the National Hockey League.
Entering the history books in this way would be phenomenal, and we're sure William Nylander will be looking to make his mark.
However, scoring four overtime goals in one season is actually quite difficult. In the era of three-on-three, it has gotten a whole lot easier, but it's still not a done deal.
That said, we're sure head coach Craig Berube will be giving Nylander tons of overtime playing time this season, especially with Marner off the roster.
Overall, we are excited to watch Nylander this season, and his growth as a player has been fantastic to watch.
