Steven Lorentz Hits the Toronto Maple Leafs with Some Bad News

Steven Lorentz was one of the best acquisitions by the
Toronto Maple Leafs in the offseason as he has been one of the most consistent players on the team.
While he isn't scoring a ton of goals, he is delivering a ton of grit, and it is rare that opposing teams score when he is on the ice. He is the type of guy head coach Craig Berube adores.
Steven Lorentz on the Florida Panthers
If anybody could speak to the mentality of the Panthers right now, it would be Lorentz. On Wednesday, that is exactly what he did and he offered a very sobering warning to the Leafs.
Essentially, the team should not assume that this series is over. In fact, the Panthers are going to be even more motivated at home in Games 3 and 4.
«They're just not going to roll over. They'll have push-back and try to feed off the energy that building."
We cannot wait to see what the Leafs do in Game 3, which takes place on Friday. They have the opportunity to do the unthinkable and take a 3-0 lead.
If they do that, then the odds will be on their side to go to the Eastern Conference Finals. Although, as we know, the fourth win is always the hardest.
Hopefully, the Leafs understand the moment and put their best foot forward in this one. If they don't, then the series will be 2-1 fast.
Regardless, fans always knew this would be a long series, and Steven Lorentz seems to think the same thing.
