Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz has had a rough start to the year, and many have wondered which of the two games he would play against the Buffalo Sabres.
Anthony Stolarz and the Toronto Maple Leafs have not had the best start to the NHL season, even if the first game against the Montreal Canadiens was promising.
So far this season, Stolarz has a record of 2-3-1, which is certainly not ideal. His 3.01 goals-against average and .894 save percentage are well below what he accomplished last year.
Anthony Stolarz plays against the Buffalo Sabres
Tonight and tomorrow, the Toronto Maple Leafs are playing against the Buffalo Sabres, and there has been a debate surrounding which game Stolarz will get the start in.
According to Luke Fox, it would appear as though the Leafs are riding with Stolarz tonight as the Sabres put in goaltender
Alex Lyon.
This means that
Cayden Primeau is going to be getting the start against the Sabres on Saturday night as the Leafs come back home.
Overall, the Toronto Maple Leafs need a win here so that they can get themselves back above .500. Two wins in a row would be even better.
The Toronto Blue Jays are in the World Series tonight, and now would be the perfect time to attempt to match what the Jays have accomplished.
If they can be inspired by another Toronto team, perhaps that will give them the edge they are so desperate for right about now.
Hopefully, the Leafs can get their stuff together here, and have themselves their best overall game of the NHL season.
