Darren Dreger Drops a Major Bomb on the Maple Leafs Amid Nazem Kadri Trade Talks

Toronto Maple Leafs fans are convinced that Nazem Kadri will be traded back to the team, but Darren Dreger has something to say about that.
Nazem Kadri is 34 years old and is still playing some inspired hockey, as he had 35 goals and 67 points last season with the Calgary Flames.
The Toronto Maple Leafs traded him away years ago, and they are still regretting that decision, big time. The team needs a center, and he could be the solution to their problems.
So much so that there have been a plethora of rumors involving Kadri and how he could very well be traded back to Toronto.
Is Nazem Kadri being traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs?
Amidst all of these rumors, insiders have been trying to get the latest scoop. After all, Kadri going back to Toronto would be a huge story.
According to Darren Dreger, Leafs fans should let the fantasy out of their heads immediately. Quite simply, it is not going to happen.
Nazem Kadri isn't available, not saying that he won't be available, let's see how things go with the Calgary Flames; a lot can change between now and the trade deadline; if the player were ever available Toronto would be interested
Interestingly enough, Dreger said that things could change and that if the Flames do make Kadri available, the Leafs would pounce at the opportunity.
However, for right now, Leafs fans will just have to hope the team continues to pursue other guys that are on the trade market.
Ultimately, the Leafs are a good team, and with their current roster, they can still make the playoffs.
That said, general manager Brad Treliving still has work to do, and there is no reason not to trust him to make the right choices.
